Mae Regan'S Lemon Bread

Instructions
- Lightly oil a regular loaf pan.
- Cream margarine, sugar, and eggs together.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and finely grated lemon rind.
- Add ground walnuts if using.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in a 325°F (163°C) oven for about 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and prick the top of the bread all over with a toothpick.
