Marinated Broccoli Salad

A vibrant, crunchy broccoli salad marinated in a sweet and tangy dressing, perfect for potlucks, picnics, or as a refreshing side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches broccoli
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 3 strips bacon, fried and crumbled (optional)
  • Sunflower seeds (optional)
  • 1 cup Miracle Whip
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Cut broccoli flowerets and some stem into medium size pieces. Drain to dry completely.
  2. Put raisins into boiling water and drain immediately.
  3. Mix Miracle Whip, cider vinegar, sugar, and salt to make the dressing.
  4. Pour the dressing over the broccoli and mix well.
  5. Refrigerate overnight.
  6. Mix again before serving.
  7. Crisp bacon bits or sunflower seeds may be added before serving.
