Juicy, tender chuck roast marinated in a tangy vinegar and oil mixture, seasoned with onion flakes and garlic, perfect for flavorful grilling and hearty meals.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 4 tablespoons onion flakes
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons meat tenderizer
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 pound chuck roast with bones or boneless

Instructions

  1. Mix oil and vinegar and pour into a dish large enough to hold the roast.
  2. Coat each side of the roast with the onion flakes, garlic powder, meat tenderizer, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pierce the roast with a cooking fork several times on each side.
  4. Place the roast in the oil and vinegar mixture and cover with aluminum foil.
  5. Marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 8 hours, turning the roast several times.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium-low heat.
  7. Cook the roast on the grill for 20 minutes per side.
  8. Slice thinly to serve.
