- Mix oil and vinegar and pour into a dish large enough to hold the roast.
- Coat each side of the roast with the onion flakes, garlic powder, meat tenderizer, salt, and black pepper.
- Pierce the roast with a cooking fork several times on each side.
- Place the roast in the oil and vinegar mixture and cover with aluminum foil.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 8 hours, turning the roast several times.
- Preheat the grill to medium-low heat.
- Cook the roast on the grill for 20 minutes per side.
- Slice thinly to serve.
