Marmalade Bread
A moist, flavorful bread infused with orange marmalade and walnuts, perfect for breakfast or teatime, offering a delightful citrus sweetness and nutty crunch.

Instructions
- Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Reserve 1/4 cup of marmalade. Combine the remaining 1 1/4 cups of marmalade, beaten egg, orange juice, and oil.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just moistened.
- Stir in the chopped walnuts.
- Turn the batter into a greased 9 1/2 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the pan and place on a baking sheet.
- Spread the reserved marmalade over the top of the loaf and return to the oven for 1 minute to glaze.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
