Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 pint marshmallow cream

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine and cocoa over low heat.
  2. In a large bowl, stir eggs and sugar together.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the egg and sugar mixture and mix well.
  4. Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Add the sifted dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in chopped nuts.
  7. Spread the batter in a greased pan.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  9. While hot, spread the marshmallow cream evenly over the baked brownies.
