Martha'S Cabbage Roll Casserole
A hearty casserole combining seasoned ground beef, sausage, rice, and tender cabbage, baked with flavorful tomato sauce—perfect for comforting family dinners or gatherings.

- Cook ground beef, sausage, chopped onion, salt, and chopped peppers until browned.
- Add chili powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, canned tomatoes, rice, and half of the tomato sauce to the meat mixture. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Chop the head of cabbage and cook it in a separate pan until tender.
- Layer the cooked cabbage in a casserole dish, then add the meat and rice mixture on top, ending with the remaining meat mixture.
- Pour the remaining half of the tomato sauce over the top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes until browned.
