Ingredients

  • 2 strips bacon
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • 2 c. frozen creamed corn
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. light cream

Instructions

  1. Fry finely diced bacon until crisp.
  2. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.
  3. Add frozen creamed corn to the bacon and onion, cook until it begins to brown.
  4. Pour in milk, add salt and pepper, and cook until thickened.
  5. Stir in light cream or canned milk and heat until smooth.
