- Place washed peppers on a baking sheet in the oven on the top rack and broil at 500°F.
- As they char, keep turning until almost completely black.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Remove the core and seeds under running water, allowing the outer skin to come off easily.
- Slice each pepper into 6 pieces.
- Add all other ingredients and let marinate for at least 2 hours.
