Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1 1/4 c. macaroni, cooked according to package directions
  • 1/2 c. grated American cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, salt, pepper, and chopped onion in a bowl.
  2. Heat a skillet and add the beef mixture.
  3. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  4. Add canned tomatoes to the skillet and stir in cooked macaroni.
  5. Pour the mixture into a buttered baking dish.
  6. Top with grated American cheese.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
