A hearty Texan-inspired spaghetti casserole layered with seasoned ground beef, vegetables, mushrooms, and a generous topping of grated cheese, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 8 oz. spaghetti
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 jar mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 lb. Longhorn grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef with chopped bell pepper and chopped onion.
  2. Cook and drain the spaghetti.
  3. Add tomato soup and tomato puree to the meat mixture and stir well.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Grease a large casserole dish and layer spaghetti, meat mixture, mushrooms, and grated cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F until bubbly hot and cheese is melted and golden.
