- Cook the macaroni in boiling water for 10 minutes, then drain and set aside to cool.
- Cook the peas in the microwave on High for 4 1/2 minutes, then refrigerate to cool.
- Drain the canned chicken in water and set aside.
- Chop the hard-boiled eggs.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, peas, chicken, chopped eggs, chopped lettuce, and pimiento or tomato if preferred.
- Add low-calorie mayonnaise and mix all ingredients thoroughly.
- Serve immediately or chill before serving.
