Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 2 (12 oz) cans meatballs and gravy
  • 1 (1 lb) can sliced carrots, drained
  • 2 tablespoons snipped parsley
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup crisp rice cereal, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seed
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 10 refrigerated biscuits

Instructions

  1. Cook chopped onion in butter until tender, but not brown.
  2. Add meatballs and gravy, drained sliced carrots, snipped parsley, and Worcestershire sauce; heat until bubbling.
  3. Pour mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish.
  4. Mix crushed rice cereal, sesame seed, and salt together.
  5. Brush tops of refrigerated biscuits with milk, then dip in cereal mixture.
  6. Arrange the coated biscuits atop the hot meat mixture.
  7. Bake in a hot oven at 425°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and done.
