Ingredients

  • 3 lb. ground chuck
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. tomato juice
  • 3 c. herb flavored stuffing mix
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 12 rolls

Instructions

  1. Mix ground chuck, eggs, tomato juice, stuffing mix, chopped onion, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Blend the mixture well until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into a 12 x 9-inch pan to form a flat layer.
  4. Cut into 3-inch square portions.
  5. Let the meat mixture set in the refrigerator for several hours.
  6. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven until done, or cook on a grill.
  7. Top with cheese if desired before serving.
