Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornflakes
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Crush the cornflakes and mix them with the hamburger, egg, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and mustard in a large bowl.
  2. Wrap a small quantity of the mixture around the end of a stick, forming a long shape instead of a round ball.
  3. Wrap foil around the meat and part of the stick to prevent the meat from falling into the coals.
  4. Place the meat sticks over a bed of coals, turning them slowly to cook evenly.
  5. Cook until meat is thoroughly cooked and nicely browned, about 15-20 minutes.
