Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 c. chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 c. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 1 (12 oz.) luncheon meat, cut in 1 x 1 1/2-inch strips
  • 1/4 c. shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt butter or margarine.
  2. Saute chopped onions in butter until tender, but not brown.
  3. Stir in condensed cream of celery soup, chopped tomatoes, dried thyme, and pepper.
  4. Add cooked and drained elbow macaroni and luncheon meat strips.
  5. Mix in shredded cheese.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish and bake uncovered at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes.
