Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground pork
  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 3 large onions, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 green hot peppers, chopped
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Fry the ground pork and ground meat until brown and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add flour and chopped hot peppers to the meat mixture.
  3. Cook and stir until the onions are tender and cooked through.
  4. Add 1/2 cup water to the mixture and stir well.
  5. Turn off the heat and add chopped parsley, green onions, and minced garlic.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Allow the meat mixture to cool before filling pastry shells.
  8. Fill pastry shells with the cooled meat mixture and bake to make meat pies.
