Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 2 tablespoons food yeast
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Add soy sauce, oil, chopped onions, and minced garlic to boiling water.
  2. Mix oats, sage, food yeast, and chopped nuts together. Gradually sprinkle into the broth and let stand until the liquid is absorbed.
  3. Stir lightly until well combined.
  4. Form into patties and brown in a small amount of oil until well done.
