Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. Gebhardt chili powder
  • 1/2 c. meat stock
  • 1 c. tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Cook onion, green pepper, and garlic slowly in butter until soft, stirring often.
  2. Add flour, salt, and chili powder; stir until smooth.
  3. Add meat stock and tomatoes.
  4. Cook until thick and smooth.
  5. Strain, if desired.
  6. Can be used over rice, spaghetti, noodles, or various meats.
