Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 2 cups raw peanuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and raw peanuts in a microwave-safe bowl and mix well.
  2. Microwave on High for 4 minutes; stir.
  3. Microwave on High for 4 more minutes.
  4. Stir in vanilla and butter.
  5. Microwave on High for 2 minutes.
  6. Add baking soda and stir vigorously.
  7. Pour onto a buttered sheet pan and spread evenly.
  8. Allow to cool, then crack into pieces.
