- In a microwave oval baking dish, mix spaghetti sauce and sugar.
- Cover with plastic wrap, turning back one corner to vent.
- Microwave on High for 2 to 3 minutes or until bubbly; set aside.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, parsley, thyme, and salt.
- Place cabbage leaves in a microwave-safe dish with water, cover, and microwave until leaves are soft and pliable, about 2-3 minutes.
- Cut out the thick vein from each cabbage leaf if necessary.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of meat mixture on each cabbage leaf and roll up, tucking in the sides.
- Arrange the cabbage rolls in the prepared baking dish over the sauce.
- Pour the remaining sauce over the cabbage rolls.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and microwave on high for about 10 minutes or until heated through.
