- Crumble ground beef or turkey into a 9-inch pie plate.
- Microwave at high power for 2 1/2 to 4 minutes until the meat loses its pink color.
- Break up the cooked meat and drain excess fat.
- In a medium bowl, combine eggs, sliced green onion, milk, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pie plate with the cooked meat.
- Reduce microwave power to 50% (medium).
- Microwave for 4 minutes.
- Push the cooked portions to the center of the plate.
- Microwave for an additional 4 1/2 to 8 minutes or until almost set, lifting edges of the set egg after half the cooking time.
- Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the top.
- Microwave for 1 to 2 1/2 minutes or until the cheese melts.
- Let stand several minutes before serving.
