Ingredients

  • 16 oz. loaf French or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 tablespoon instant onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Cut the loaf into 1-inch thick slices without cutting through the bottom crust.
  2. Blend the butter, onion flakes, parsley, dill weed, and onion salt in a small bowl.
  3. Spread the herb mixture evenly on the bread slices.
  4. Sprinkle with paprika on top of the slices.
  5. Place the loaf on a paper towel-lined microwaveproof plate.
  6. Cook on High for 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through.
