Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 - 3/4 C. green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 C. onion, chopped
  • 1 - 16 oz. can baked beans, drained
  • 1 - 16 oz. can kidney beans, drained
  • 1/4 - 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 1/4 - 1/2 C. catsup

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a pan. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. Saute the chopped green pepper and onion until soft.
  3. Drain the grease from the pan and add the cooked ground beef back in.
  4. Add the drained baked beans, drained kidney beans, brown sugar, and catsup to the pan.
  5. Stir until all ingredients are well blended.
  6. Cover the pan and cook over low heat for 45 to 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add salt to taste before serving.
