Ingredients

  • 3 pkg. Pepperidge Farm party rolls
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 pkg. onion soup
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 jar sliced hamburger dill pickles

Instructions

  1. Mix ground chuck, onion soup, pepper, water, bread crumbs, and egg in a large bowl.
  2. Pack the mixture tightly on a large baking sheet or two small sheets to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  3. Poke holes in the meat with a fork.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  5. Cut the cooked meat into squares the size of the buns.
  6. Place meat squares and sliced dill pickles on the buns.
  7. Sprinkle a few drops of water on top and bottom of each bun.
  8. Place the assembled sliders in a pan, seal tightly with foil, and heat at 350°F for 15 minutes.
  9. Serve warm.
