- Mix ground chuck, onion soup, pepper, water, bread crumbs, and egg in a large bowl.
- Pack the mixture tightly on a large baking sheet or two small sheets to about 1/2 inch thickness.
- Poke holes in the meat with a fork.
- Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes, then let cool.
- Cut the cooked meat into squares the size of the buns.
- Place meat squares and sliced dill pickles on the buns.
- Sprinkle a few drops of water on top and bottom of each bun.
- Place the assembled sliders in a pan, seal tightly with foil, and heat at 350°F for 15 minutes.
- Serve warm.
