Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb beef, sliced thinly and cut into 1-2 inch strips
  • 1 1/2 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Chinese cabbage (bok choy), cut into 1 1/2-inch chunks
  • 1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced thickly
  • 3 bunches scallions, cut into 2-inch pieces

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by slicing the beef thinly, cutting chicken into bite-sized pieces, chopping Chinese cabbage into 1 1/2-inch chunks, thickly slicing mushrooms, and cutting scallions into 2-inch pieces.
  2. Soak the Chinese cabbage in salt water to tenderize before cooking.
  3. In a large pot, bring broth to a simmer and add the beef, chicken, cabbage, mushrooms, and scallions.
  4. Cook until the meats are cooked through and vegetables are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, allowing diners to enjoy the flavorful broth and tender ingredients.
