Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider adding sautéed mushrooms or garlic to the mixture. If you don't have sage, thyme or poultry seasoning can be good substitutes. Use day-old bread for better texture, and if you're short on time, store-bought cornbread works well. This dressing pairs beautifully with Moist And Crispy Chicken for a comforting meal.

Serving Suggestions

This dressing is perfect as a side dish for roasted chicken or turkey. Serve it alongside green beans or a fresh salad for a balanced meal. For a heartier option, consider pairing it with Chicken Pie(Club Member: Brigitte Magee) or a creamy casserole. Garnish with fresh herbs for added color and flavor.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the dressing in a baking dish, cover with foil, and warm in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes or until heated through. You can also microwave individual portions for convenience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make this dressing ahead of time?

Yes, you can prepare the mixture a day in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Just bake it right before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together nicely, making it even more delicious when baked.

What kind of broth should I use?
