Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crab meat
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 raw eggs
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 celery stalk
  • cracker meal (small portion)
  • 1 Tbsp. mayo
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. seafood seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. hot water

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion, celery stalk, and pepper in margarine until soft, but not brown.
  2. Mix crab meat, hard-boiled eggs (chopped), raw eggs, mayo, Worcestershire sauce, seafood seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Add cracker meal gradually to the mixture until it reaches a consistency suitable for shaping.
  4. Shape the mixture into small crab cakes or fill crab shells if available.
  5. Place the filled shells or formed cakes on a baking dish.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and set.
