Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. herb seasoned dressing mix
  • 1 pkg. cornbread dressing mix or 1 small cake of cornbread
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • chopped celery
  • chopped onions
  • chopped bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped celery, onions, and bell pepper in margarine in a skillet until tender.
  2. Mix the herb-seasoned dressing mix, cornbread dressing mix or crumbled cornbread, and beaten eggs in a large bowl.
  3. Add the cooked vegetables and margarine to the dressing mixture.
  4. Pour chicken broth over the mixture, one can at a time, until the dressing is moist enough.
  5. If necessary for taste, add another stick of melted margarine.
