Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. cooked ground lamb
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 4 oz. butter
  • 1/2 small onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • 1 handful golden raisins
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a pan and add the minced onion, cooking gently until soft.
  2. Stir in ground cumin and slivered almonds, cooking until almonds are lightly browned.
  3. Add honey and golden raisins to the mixture and cook briefly.
  4. Drain the mixture on paper towels and then mix with the cooked ground lamb.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
