- Mix very well in a large bowl the sugar, mashed bananas, and beaten egg.
- Sift and mix in the dry ingredients: flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Add melted butter, vanilla, and chopped nuts.
- Mix very well until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45 to 50 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely before removing from the pan.
- Do not cover until completely cooled.
- Refrigerate or freeze leftovers.
