Mozzarella and cheddar cheeses blend with seasoned hamburger, tomato sauce, and crescent rolls in this hearty, cheesy casserole perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) tube crescent rolls
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • oregano
  • basil

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown hamburger and chopped onion.
  2. Drain off grease.
  3. Mix with tomato sauce and mushrooms.
  4. Spread the mixture in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  5. Sprinkle shredded Mozzarella and Cheddar cheeses over the top.
  6. Lay out individual crescent rolls and spread each with sour cream.
  7. Sprinkle with oregano and basil.
  8. Roll up each crescent and place on top of the cheese layer.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes or until crescent rolls are browned and done.
