Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cans light red kidney beans
  • 3 c. tomato juice
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger in a skillet, stirring until crumbly.
  2. Drain well and set aside.
  3. Saute onion until soft.
  4. Combine all ingredients in the skillet.
  5. Simmer, covered, for 2 hours.
  6. Remove garlic before serving.
