Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 lb. box confectioners sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • flour (sugar box full)
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine, butter, and confectioners sugar until light and smooth.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Fill the sugar box with flour to the rim.
  4. Add the flour to the mixture and beat well.
  5. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and mix thoroughly.
  6. Grease a tube pan.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and shake down to distribute evenly.
  8. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour or until done.
  9. Remove from pan immediately after baking.
