Ingredients

  • nacho chips
  • canned chili (without beans)
  • grated cheese (half Monterey Jack and half Cheddar or your choice)
  • picante sauce
  • sliced jalapeno peppers (optional)
  • chopped onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Open the can of chili and spread the desired amount on each chip. Place chips on a cookie sheet close together.
  2. Sprinkle generously with grated cheese.
  3. Top with picante sauce, sliced jalapeno peppers, and chopped onions as desired.
  4. Place under broiler until cheese is melted and starts to bubble, about 3-5 minutes. Alternatively, microwave for 45 seconds.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy.
