Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, shredded
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 can green peas, drained
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 package Good Seasons Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked, blotted, and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Layer shredded lettuce in the bottom of a large serving dish.
  2. Add chopped bell pepper and chopped onion over the lettuce layer.
  3. Spread chopped celery (if using) over the vegetables.
  4. Drain green peas and evenly distribute over the vegetables.
  5. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, and Italian salad dressing mix until smooth.
  6. Spread the dressing mixture evenly over the pea layer.
  7. Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese over the dressing.
  8. Crumble cooked bacon evenly over the cheese.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
