Ingredients

  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix together flour and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Add beaten eggs, baking soda, vanilla extract, salt, chopped nuts, and crushed pineapple with juice. Mix well.
  4. Pour mixture into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  5. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool completely before icing.
