Tips & Substitutions

For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with lentils or black beans. You can also use whole wheat lasagne noodles for a healthier alternative. Adjust the taco seasoning level according to your spice preference. Adding diced bell peppers or onions to the meat mixture can enhance the flavor and nutrition. This dish is a fun twist on traditional Mexican recipes.

Serving Suggestions

These noodle burritos are delicious on their own but pair well with a side of Mexican rice or a fresh Summer Mexican Salad for a complete meal. Serve with sour cream, guacamole, or salsa for dipping. For a fun twist, try serving them alongside a dish of Capital Punishment Chile for an exciting flavor contrast.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in a microwave-safe dish and cover with a damp paper towel to retain moisture. Microwave on medium power until heated through, or bake in the oven at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes until warmed thoroughly.
