Ingredients

  • garlic bread
  • ground garlic
  • butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. buttered sugar
  • 6 oz. to 1 lb. ham
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • pineapple
  • pineapple

Instructions

  1. Melt butter or margarine in a pan.
  2. Add ground garlic and 1/2 teaspoon sugar; simmer for about 3 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 350° to 400° F.
  4. Place ham in a covered pan and bake for about 3 to 4 hours.
  5. Simmer chopped almonds in pineapple juice for about 10 minutes.
  6. Arrange whole sliced pineapple on top of the ham and bake until browned.
  7. Secure pineapple slices with toothpicks on the ham.
  8. Remove from oven and baste the ham for about 30 minutes before serving.
