Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup diet margarine
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1 Granny Smith apple diced
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Place margarine in a 2-quart glass measure.
  2. Microwave on High (100% power) for 45 seconds or until margarine is melted.
  3. Stir in sugar, then blend in egg and vanilla.
  4. Add flour, cinnamon, and baking powder; blend.
  5. Stir in oats, then add diced apple and raisins.
  6. Pour mixture into a lightly sprayed 8 x 8-inch glass dish; level with a spatula.
  7. Rotate dish midway through cooking.
  8. Microwave on High for 5 minutes or until top is set but slightly moist.
  9. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.
  10. Bars may be eaten warm or at room temperature.
