Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines spice cake mix
  • 2 large apples, peeled, cored and finely chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Stir all ingredients in a large bowl with a spoon until well blended.
  2. Divide batter evenly into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
  3. Bake in 350°F (175°C) oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Cool loaves in the pan on a rack for about 2 hours before removing.
