Ingredients

  • 6 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/3 cup diced onion
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups milk or broth from cooling the giblets
  • dash black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine bread crumbs and poultry seasoning and toss together.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet; add diced celery and onion and sauté for 5 minutes.
  3. Beat eggs slightly; add milk, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the sautéed onion and celery to the bread crumbs mixture.
  5. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  6. Stir well and pour into a greased pan sprayed with Pam.
  7. Bake for about 45 minutes until golden and cooked through.
