Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (3 oz.) package lime jello
  • 1/2 cup grated American cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped pimento
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 2/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whipped cream or 1 package Dream Whip
  • Small stuffed olives

Instructions

  1. Drain the crushed pineapple.
  2. Heat the pineapple syrup to a boil.
  3. Add the boiling syrup to the lime jello and stir until the jello is dissolved.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool until it begins to thicken.
  5. Add the drained pineapple, grated American cheese, chopped pimento, finely chopped celery, chopped walnuts, and salt to the thickened jello mixture.
  6. Fold in whipped cream or Dream Whip until well combined.
  7. Pour into a mold shaped like a wreath and refrigerate until set.
  8. Garnish with small stuffed olives before serving.
