Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 jars (15 1/2 oz. each) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) box lasagne noodles
  • 15 oz. Ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine water with spaghetti sauce in a bowl.
  2. Cover the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish with 1 1/2 cups of sauce.
  3. Arrange a layer of uncooked noodles, slightly overlapping, on top of the sauce.
  4. Spread half the Ricotta cheese and half the Mozzarella cheese over the noodles.
  5. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese.
  6. Add another layer of sauce over the cheese.
  7. Repeat with another layer of noodles, the remaining Ricotta and Mozzarella, and 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese.
  8. Top with a final layer of noodles.
  9. Pour the remaining sauce over the top, spreading evenly to cover the edges of the noodles.
  10. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese.
