Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco
  • 1 1/2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Instructions

  1. Soak the instant minced onion in water for 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, milk, and Tabasco sauce.
  3. Add the egg mixture to the biscuit mix and stir until blended.
  4. Stir in the soaked onion and water mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into an 8-inch pie plate.
  6. Sprinkle with caraway seeds on top.
  7. Spoon melted butter over all.
  8. Bake at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
