Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm stuffing
  • 1 can French green beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 chicken, boned
  • 1 large can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 1 large can mushrooms, drained
  • 2 cups mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle half of the stuffing over the bottom of a 10 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Layer the drained and sliced water chestnuts, drained mushrooms, French green beans, and boned chicken in the casserole in the given order.
  3. Blend the mushroom soup and milk together and pour over the layered ingredients.
  4. Moisten the remaining stuffing with melted butter and hot water, then spread it on top of the casserole.
  5. Bake at 400°F for 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
