Ingredients

  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 32 oz. frozen Ore-Ida hash browns, thawed
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Blend together sour cream, cream of chicken soup, shredded Cheddar cheese, melted margarine, and chopped green onions in order.
  2. Place the mixture in a 9 x 13-inch or two small casseroles.
  3. Sprinkle potato chips on top.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour until heated through and golden on top.
  5. Can be made several hours ahead and refrigerated until baking time.
