Ingredients

  • 6 small or 4 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 8 oz melted butter
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Place peeled and sliced apples in the bottom of the pie pan.
  2. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the apples.
  3. In a large bowl, mix flour with melted butter, eggs, and pecans.
  4. Pour the pecan mixture over the apples in the pie pan.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  6. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of the pie; if it comes out clean, the pie is done.
  7. Allow the pie to cool.
  8. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
