Oven Dressing is a hearty, flavorful casserole combining ground meat, rice, vegetables, and savory soups, perfect for comforting family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can onion soup with beef stock
  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 1/3 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/3 cup onion tops
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground meat slightly until it changes color.
  2. Add all ingredients to the cooked ground meat and mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into a 12 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  4. Seal tightly with heavy foil.
  5. Place in a preheated oven and cook for one hour at 400°F or one and a half hours at 350°F.
