Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground hamburger
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. seasoned pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. drained chili beans
  • 1/2 c. drained ripe olives
  • 2 c. corn chips

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, evaporated milk, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, salt, seasoned pepper, chili powder, and flour in a large skillet.
  2. Cook over medium heat until the beef is browned, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add tomato sauce, drained chili beans, and drained olives to the skillet.
  4. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cover the bottom of a 1 1/2-quart casserole with 1 cup of corn chips.
  6. Pour the meat mixture over the corn chips in the casserole.
  7. Top with the remaining corn chips.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
