Parisian Chicken features tender chicken breasts baked with mushrooms in a buttery broth, offering rich flavors perfect for a comforting dinner with rice or noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Italian bread crumbs
  • 6 boneless, skinned chicken breast halves
  • 1 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • Fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F.
  2. Melt butter in a pan.
  3. Coat chicken breasts with Italian bread crumbs.
  4. Arrange the coated chicken halves in the pan of melted butter.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, then turn the chicken over.
  6. Bake for another 10 minutes.
  7. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F.
  8. Arrange sliced fresh mushrooms around the chicken in the pan.
  9. Pour chicken broth and white wine over the chicken and mushrooms.
  10. Bake, covered, for 15 minutes.
  11. Serve with noodles or rice and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
